Mediums
My portrait and illustration artwork are produced using several mediums. I hope the following information will assist you when deciding what medium you would like me to use when producing your pet portrait.
I currently work in acrylic paint, graphite pencil and coloured pencils. If you are unsure which medium to choose I would be happy to offer my professional advice regarding this once I have seen your photographs, as coat type/colour can often influence the medium chosen. Please see the following notes on the various mediums I use.
Acrylic paint
Chromacolour is my prefered acrylic paint as it is highly opaque and dries to a matt finish.

Coloured pencils
I use Prismacolor Premier, Faber Castell Polychromos and Stabilo Softcolor pencils in my coloured pencil portraits all of which are artist grade pencils.
